Overview

Expulsion (removable) fuse links are the replaceable fusible elements installed inside outdoor drop-out fuse cutouts. They interrupt overcurrent and fault current, then allow the fuse holder to drop and give a visible open indication. Type K (fast) and Type T (slow/time-delay) characteristics cover transformer and feeder protection.
